Job Description:

Line cooks/prep cooks prepare the crave-able, high fresh food Bout Time Pub & Grub is known for. Our ideal kitchen team member loves great food, cares about the details and can handle the challenge of a busy kitchen and lots of orders!

Responsibilities:

Properly setting up and taking down station
Cooking raw and prepared foods, including meat and eggs, to order
Properly labeling, dating and filling pans
Cleaning, organizing and maintaining refrigerators, coolers and dry storage areas
Taking inventory and stocking/restocking items
Communicating with fellow staff members to ensure quality product and ticket times
Adjusting to high-pressure and busy workflow times
Understanding and complying with food safety and temperature standards
Maintain a professional and calm demeanor

Qualifications:

Ability to carry at least 30 pounds
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Adherence to personal safety standards
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to bend, reach, squat and lift while on shift
Ability to withstand frequent exposure to steam, heat, smoke, humidity and cold
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and proper use of equipment
